When the time comes to bring your car to Shingle Springs Honda for an oil change, why not have the tires rotated? Tire rotations could preserve the life of the tires by evening out the wear. There could be some safety benefits to regular rotations, as well.

Tire rotations involve switching the rear tires to the front and the front ones to the back. Sometimes, the process includes switching them right to the left and vice versa. Why rotate tires? Front and rear tires don't wear out evenly. When tires aren't evenly worn, some may require replacing earlier than expected.

Worn tires may suffer from poor traction, which is a safety hazard. Also, removing the tires presents a chance to inspect the brakes better. Driving with brake troubles might prove dangerous.

At our Shingle Springs location, the service department technicians perform tire rotations and other services. Ask for a full tire inspection in addition to the rotation.
